Pancho Peacemaker Posted February 1, 2011 Share Posted February 1, 2011 So we got us a Superbowl down here in the DFW area this week. Two teams from up north worked hard to get to play in this game. Both teams got talent and worked dang hard to get here. Saturday and Sunday it was in the 60's with some sun. Great weather to welcome guests to the area. Both teams show up here at the airport yesterday. This morning I wake up to TWO INCHES OF ICE everywhere I can see. The cold wind is blowing so hard it hurts. Weathergirl says the wind chill is ZERO today. I live on a hill and with all the ice, I cain't leave my house, even in my big yeller 4x4. This stinks. I appreciate out-of-towners visiting to play and watch this game. Next time you visit, please leave the winter weather back home where it belongs. The aluminum trim on the inside of my bathroom window is covered with frost this morning!! Good thing I blanketed the horses last night & kept them in the barn.
