The Original Bad Bob
I have a Rossi 92 with a 16 inch barrel in .44 magnum. I bought it thinking it looked a little like the Duke's 44-40, so I could use it for CAS, and it would double as a good hog/deer gun at close ranges. It easily holds eight magnums in the magazine. I thought I could probably get nine .44 specials in there, and I got some today, CAS LRN, and nine went in easy, so I tried one more, and it was a bit tight, but it went in. Ten in the magazine. I cycled it and it worked just fine. All ten chambered and ejected just like they are supposed to, so I did it again, and it worked just fine again. Just so ya know. It can be done.
