Marlin CB 24 " barrel in 45/70.

 

This hasn't been shot all that much,..long range matches, and work up. I have won lots of matches, some out to 400 yards, with this rifle.

I was working up another load for it last month, but since I'm in the selling mood, I thought I would list it.

 

This rifle has a Marbles tang sight, and is very accurate with properly worked up loads. Not many dings or scratches but the bluing on the reciever was patinaed to look old. I reblued it with cold blue to bring it back to good blue color.

The points of the end of the bolt had to be trimmed back so as not to interfer with the Marbles sight when cycling. No issues with it.

This is a race gun,...not a hunting rifle. It still has the two piece firing pin, but a lightened main spring, and a lightened lever spring.

There are a few long, light scratches on one side of the butt stock.
