Cypress Sun Posted January 24, 2011 Share Posted January 24, 2011 Two St. Pete PD officers were killed this morning while assisting US Marshalls trying to apprehend a felon on a warrent. A US Marshall was also wounded in the ensueing shootout with the suspect. The suspect is now cornered in an attic at the shooting site. The names of the officers are not available at this time. News Coverage (live) My link UPDATE The officers names were Thomas Baitlinger and Jeffery Yaslowitz both with service for over 10 years in St. Pete. I didn't catch the US Marshall's name.
