Pea Patch just finished adding up the applications we received today and we have sold out at exactly 756 shooters. This has come as a bit of a surprise for the Rough Riders. We are thrilled to sell out for the first time since going to a three day match. It is especially exciting in light of the fact this is our 20th Anniversary shoot. At the same time, we are saddened that we cannot accomodate everyone, but we do have to work within the limits of range space, time, and manpower to ensure a smooth running match and a positive shooting experience. Pea Patch has started a waiting list, but be forewarned the no-show rate is very low. Also, there is no way to know when, if, or how many cancellations will occur. Thank you all for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you at Winter Range. Pea Patch usually gets the confirmation letters out within a few days. If you were too late, she will be contacting you in the next few days to see if you want to be on the waiting list. Guest Posted January 20, 2011 Share Posted January 20, 2011 This just shows you what can happen when the match officials take the time to REALLY listen to the shooters that attend their match. Almost every day, at every Winter Range I've been to, one of the officials takes the time to ask me (and everybody else) how things are going & what can they do better. And then they do it. May not be that year or the next, but every good suggestion that I have heard bandied about showed up sooner or later.
