Since Hawaii is surrounded by a big puddle, don't know if they will bend their rules and ship by air. If by sea, it will be a long wait at the other end. They do have air shipping of hazardous materials but don't seem to address ammunition directly. I'd call the local UPS hub (not a UPS store) and ask. Nubbins Colt #7802 Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 It should be easy to ship on a plane, in the proper luggage designed for the purpose. hawaii is so weird gun-wise I'd seriously think about the plane. Buying ammo could be a problem. Catch up to Singing Bear - he is or was a very active SASS shooter in Oahu.
