Blood Washed SASS #79269
I'm not savy on hammered guns so I'll ask a few questions. Can you explain the sequence for operating this gun? I mean can it be cocked with the action open and the lever to the right. Or will the lever open with the hammers cocked. Also are they working hammers (cock and hit the firing pins) or just look prettys??? Thanks, Blood Washed
JD Trampas, SASS # 55781
Blood Washed, let me see if I can answer this for you, yes you can cock the hammers with the action open, yes you can open with the hammers cocked, it looks to me that it is a rebounding hammer, there is a gap between the hammer and I guess the firing pin, the hammers are 1 1/2 wide from inside to inside, hope this helps you out, look at the last pic that he has, you can see what I mean about the gap All for now JD Trampas P.S. as for sequence for operating, hard to explain since everyone has a different method, you have to see what works the best for you
