WTB - Buttstock Taylor's Trapper 73 Winchester

WTB Buttstock for Taylors #2012 1873 Winchester Trapper, Pistol Grip, checkered.

 

I just bought a new Trapper Model for my wife from Cody, and she has a LOP of about 10-3/4”, so the buttstock needs some considerable shortening to fit her.

 

The rifle came with a real pretty stock, and I just hate the thought of cutting it. (OK, maybe the real reason I hate to cut it is that I might want to put the original back on someday so I can shoot it if she decides to hang it up…but that’s my story and I’m sticking to it)

 

I’m hoping a pard here has a buttstock already cut down for a young’un that has now outgrowed it.

 

She really likes the pistol grip, so a straight stock just won't do.

 

I know I can buy a new one from VTI or Numrich, when they get them back in stock, I’d rather do business with a pard here first.
