She has the TV on the "news" channels all the time. I think they are all a bunch of snake oil salesmen in modern dress. So what, you say. Well, just a few minutes ago, I was listening to the background noise as I awaited the Saloon to come on line, and they mentioned that Atlanta,Jawja was getting a lot of snow. According to them the conditions were pretty bad. So being a curious fellow, I went to the Atlanta weather web site. Up pops a long letter with the AP letterhead on it. First off it stated "3 hours ago". No date, just 3 hours ago. Ok I figure it is pretty hot stuff, only 3 hours old. So I start to read the message. They are talking about the Christmas delay and how people were trapped in the airport. HUH? Christmas was only three hours ago? Three hours from what? Don't they teach reporters to communicate any more? Some of the web sites that I have visited are pretty old and portray themselves as current time lines. Just got back from Last Stand last night. Looking out the window all I see is white------SNOW about 5 inches deep covered by frozen rain otherwise known as ice.
