Saw it this evening but didn't make the connection to Ammo Direct - wasn't mentioned in the article. Never used 'em, but had visited their web site once or twice to possibly find ammo for calibers I didn't reload. Prayers up for the victims and their families.

Addendum: Just checked and their web site appears to be down.

Thoughts and prayers to all involved.

I had purchased from them also before I started reloading .38 and I just placed a small order the 30th for some other rounds.

This is indeed bad news. They may be able to make a come back in a year or so. But many businesses find that they're underinsured for a catastrophy such as this. I sincerely hope this isn't the case with AD.

Most sad to hear that one of their people died in the explosion.

I knew Mike, the owner, and had visited their plant to pick up ammo and kibitz with the folks.

Oh, Mike was a cowboy shooter and we traded yarns over the years.

Everybody there was great and extremly helpful.

I hope Mike gets his company going again and doing a great business.

These folks are great and I look forward to doing business with them again.

God bless!
