DocWard
Well, had it been me, I think I would've: Payed off all my debt; Make sure I have enough money set aside to live comfortably, and more in trust for my children; Try to buy acreage surrounding my place; Do things to "get off the grid" and be as self-sufficient as possible; And then, as money allowed: After turning a portion of the basement into a climate controlled, ventilated gun room with vault door I would plan on: Getting a pair of New Vaqueros in .357, another pair in .45; A pair of Single Sixes in .22LR/.22WMR, another in .32 H&R Mag., and maybe .327Mag.; Then I would look at some SAAs in .357 and .45; Then I would make room for 1873s and 1892s in the same .357 and .45 calibers; SxS shotguns in various barrel lengths and gauges; Another Winchester 189422M or three in .22WMR A Thompson M-1928; An M-1 Garand; An M-14 And then: A good motorhome for travel; And for those really long trips, get one of the old A-26 Invaders and have it restored to look like a warbird on the outside, with modern avionics and comforts inside, including room to carry shooting equipment.
