Mudflat Mike, SASS #20904
I had 'em build me a "back up" 73 a few months ago, basically everything they had to offer except the lightweight carrier. I got it on time, shot it and immediately retired my old gun and have been shooting the new one. Couldn't be happier with their work, quality and customer service are tops! Joe is kinda ugly, but ya can't have everything.

Garrison Joe, SASS #60708
Another thumb way up for Joe's work. Mine is a .45 Colt that runs smooth as butter. Included an aluminum carrier. Never a hickup. Good luck, GJ

Dirty Chris
Yup, I got one. What else do you need to know? Like everyone else, my rifle is great. I've haven't shot guns from other gunsmiths so I can't compare the work, but I don't think you'll be disappointed with a race gun from PGW. irish ike, SASS #43615
I have a 73 done by Joe. Excellent work. And you can't beat the price. New rifle with complete action job for less than purchasing the rifle yourself and having Joe do the work. Ike
Checotah
Can't comment on the "race gun" aspect 'cuz I ain't got one and woodn't know whut to do with it if I did. However, I do have several rifles with Joe's action jobs on them and I can't be happier! My Yellowboy is SSSSOOOOO smmmmoooottthh that you can cycle it from uncocked position with the back of one finger! Did I say I love my Yellowboy ? And he stands behind his work! I do know other shooters with his action jobs, short-stroke kits, lightened carriers, etc. (race guns?) who are equally happy. 'Course they are faster shooters than I.... and Joe didn't take all the misses out of mine...
