Fishing Dry Falls in the afternoon is a lot like that, even in the summer. I think I might just pull the trigger and get that new float tube I have been lusting after. It's only going to get to 56 here today, and there's still some small rain puddles to be seen! So I don't want to hear anymore how bad you think you've got it! Sheesh! Long Branch Louie
We got 8" this past weekend all the way down here in North Carolina! Milk and bread is still on backorder and it looks like I gotta steal a chicken if I want any eggs. The governor woulda declared a disaster but they done spent all the budget on entitlements, and we pretty much had us a lawless situation at Walmart. The power went off and they had to put everthing in the big cooler that runs with a generator. They can't put it back out fast enough, and when I grabbed for the last pack of bacon an 85 year old little ol' lady said "You want a piece of me? Huh? Huh?." Then she said something about ripping my head off and taking a something down my neck, so I gave up the bacon. As Rodney woulda said: "Things are tough here, I tell ya, tough"....
