A good book can be hazardous to your health!

Recommended Posts

So there I was in the outhouse this morning, taking care of business and reading a few chapters in the book I got for Christmas. Each chapter lead me to read another one and before I knew it I realized I was gonna be late for work. So I quickly stood up and it wasn't until I just about fell down that I realized both legs had gone to sleep while reading.

Be careful out there!

When I was young we had a neighbor whose leg went to sleep. She thought it would be a good idea to walk it off. She fell down the front steps because of her numb leg and ended up with a broken leg. Sometimes you should let sleeping dogs (or legs) lye.

Heh. I read every morning before work, too, and have to set my alarm clock so I don't make the same mistake. So my alarm clock goes of twice every morning: Once to wake me up and once when it's time to get in the shower for work. Once I'm drawn in, I could easily get lost in it.
