What kind of Cowboy stuff did Santa bring you this year??? Or what did you buy for yourself???

First let me say MERRY CHRISTMAS.

I had an early Christmas today with my daughter & grandchildren.

You know how it goes trying to get everyone in to you plans?

They knew I was trying for the Doc Holliday look. one item missing was the hat.

Well my daughter found one at Wild West Mercantile that looks like the one from Tombstone!!!

My grandson (11) is probably a better shot that I am. I am going to try to get him out next year to a match.

Of course he is also into Semi-Autos too!!!

I got him a Henry Lever action .22LR to convert him over to the cowboy way!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS PARDS

Throughout the year I've completed my SASS gun/western acquisition tasks with the latest being a pair of Ruger Bisley Vaquero's housed by a B Western rig from Kirkpatrick Leather. The bigger picture is the one that my Dad and I (mainly my Dad) are/is working on in the acquisition of a new house next to my folk's house in Atwater California. My folks are in their 70's and I just turned 50 but have had diabetes for 35 years now and its complications are starting to get the better of me, so for health reasons alone, I wanted to be close to my folks. It looks like things are going to work out the first part of next year on the house deal and I also found out that I will only be about 5 miles or less from a new SASS range so how can you beat that! Not by Christmas, but what a new years present! Smithy.

No guns from Santa, but didn't expect any.

He did bring me the following

DVDs

The Quick and the Dead - Sam Elliot

Monte Walsh - Lee Marvin

Sam Elliot double feature - Gone to Texas and Blue River

Appaloosa (already have this one, may return it or trade for something else)

Wild West Outlaws collection - 10 Classic Westerns

Books

20th Century Small Arms guide

The Double-Jack Murders - Patrick McManus

And a check that will help towards the repairs my commuter car needs.

I cannot pass up a fantastic deal, I could have gotten more, but either missed out or was just not fully interested in what was being sold.

I have a $250.00 Blue Colt Python and a$180.00 Nickel Colt Cobra 1st edition. I'll probably be putting them up for sale as I do not use them, they were both purchased from original owners, some others deals have been even better... I come in direct contact with alot of gun owners.
