Grizzly Dave
Went up to mom's house and made cinnamon rolls from scratch with her. With her arthuritus it's too painful to do all the rolling and kneading any more. And I installed a hanging table I'd made for her a while back that now resides next to her chair, install went well, I'm not totally happy with the table, but I rarely am with my projects, she is thrilled though, gotta love moms. Hung a few pictures, cleaned the carpet. Then on the way home met Miz Grizz at church to run through the songs I'm singing this week and next. Now I'm home, and I got laundry to do! There truly is no rest for the wicked. Grizz

JD Trampas, SASS # 55781
Sometimes you wonder why you take a day off, it usually means you work harder than you do at work, been there, done that, not doing it again, I'm retired now That's good you could help your Mom out, you are a nice son, and it is always nice to spend a day with mom All for now JD Trampas

Grizzly Dave
Deja, you should go to Comin' at Cha next year. If things don't drastically improve, that is the one out of state match I will make it to in 2011. Or to save time and travel, I can tell you what folks say when they meet me.... You do look just like your avatar, but I thought you'd be taller. I'm a dwarf grizzly you see... The countdown has begun, daughter grizz has two finals tomorrow and then jumps on a plane! She gets to add one more state to her visited list for the year as she changes planes in Dallas, then will be getting into Denver about 11. It will be good to have her home for a few weeks over the Christmas break!
Smokey Shayne
Grizz... I know what you mean. Today was the first day of my lay off. Worked in the yard most all day raking and trimming back bushes. I didnt work this hard at work. But....guess that could be part of the reason for the lay off, things sure had gotten slow around there

I am part Lakota, so I guess people would think I would be short and small. Instead I am tall 5'7" and thin.. but while my frame is smaller I have a lot of muscle and bone.. gee thanks Dad... lol.. We are what we are... and who wants to change when life is so much fun anyhow? lol...
