Long Branch Louie
A long time ago, I took apart an old High Standard Model B pistol I had, polished it a little and was going to reblue it. I vaguely remember other things got more pressing and I put it in a box and put it away. Long ago I got out of the reblueing business and it was forgotten about. I found it the other day, and since it was in the white, it has rusted pretty significantly. I bead blasted it and cleaned it up the best I can, I'm gonna cold blue it and put it back together. It's the least I can do to make amends...

Doc Fill 'Em 67797
I did the same thing to a Model 10 S&W about 30 years ago. After sandblasting to remove the rust I had it Parkerized. I traded it for something else at the local gunshop. Later I saw it in their case, the tag said it was a genuine "Military" gun!
