Question: Does SASS allow the public to view the shooting match? Also do we only shoot handguns? Thanks

Yep, the match is right out there in the open where everybody can see it. Not sure if they use shotgun but, I know I've seen pistols and rifles.

YES.

All three types of firearms are used:

All pistols and rifles will be in .45 caliber. Pistols will shoot standard .45 caliber wax bullets using a standard large pistol primer as the propellant. All rifles will shoot .30 caliber wax bullets in a custom designed cartridge using a standard pistol primer as the propellant. All shotguns will be 12 guage using a .45 caliber wax bullet and a standard shotgun primer as the propellant.
