Willie Wheelgun
Great football. Nebraska 17 -0 at the quarter. 20-17 at the half. Smash mouth football at it's very best!

Willie Wheelgun
Pretty sloppy football second half, but Nebraska managed to snatch defeat from victory. Congratulations Sooners - and Okie.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
I just don't understand why they are taking Nebraska and Colorado from the Big 12 Conference. both schools have been very visible in the conference and Nebraska has been in the National spotlight several times along with Oklahoma. In my not so humble opinion neither the Pac 10 nor the Big 10 can offer these two schools any better situations. But then, again, nobody asked me for my opinion. Barkeep, another round for the folks. Okie Sawbones, SASS #77381
Yee Haw! It was nice to get home tonight and see that the Sooners and Ducks won today. Looks like TCU may be going to the Rose Bowl.
Yukon Charley, SASS Life #14739
I just don't understand why they are taking Nebraska and Colorado from the Big 12 Conference. From what I understand, these two schools CHOSE to leave the conference. They didn't HAVE to leave. Glad OU put a whuppin' on NB before NB defected to the Big 10. I hate to see that OU/NB rivalry die.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
I hate to see that OU/NB rivalry die. Just my point, Yukon. These are the things that fans can enjoin and share with the team. Look at the camera shots of the stands at one of these games. Those people came to be part of the game. I think Nebraska went home at the half and forgot to finish the game. The Sooners deserved to win, they just outplayed the Cornhuskers in the second half. The way I understand it, Texas saved the Big 12 (soon to be the Big 10). If Texas had bolted, the whole conference would have collapsed. I'll never root for Nebraska again. There was a wonderful rivalry between OU and Nebraska -- now it is gone forever. Oklahoma led the rivalry by a small margin: 44–38–3. I guess it is all about the almighty buck. Yellowhouse Sam # 25171
Got a hunch that the rivalry will continue and they'll continue to be one anothers schedule.....there's too much TV money at stake. However, both teams might opt for teams like Slippery Rock....wouldn't surprise me.
Okie Sawbones, SASS #77381
I'm just now getting to watch the game -- I put it on Tivo. Neb 20-17 at the half. Both teams slopped around the field the first half.

Okie Sawbones, SASS #77381
You have seen the best part of the game. You were right, pard. OU was lucky to win that game. Neb gave 'em the game with mistakes...three lost fumbles. You can't do that with top 10 teams and expect to win.
