Looking over the choices this week, it looks pretty much like the turkey from yesterday's banquet.

Pretty much picked over but some delectable morsels still left.

That said, I still owe you uninformed football fans out there in cowboy land a brief lesson in who is,

and who is not, a winner.

First Pick is the Big 10 Conference.

I am going to choose the Ohio State/Michigan game.

Now these two teams do not like each other and the do not seem to know how

to play nice together. Ohio has a better record this year, but Michigan has shown

moments of rational concentration and won a few tight games. So I am going out

n a limb here.

Michigan/Ohio State

OUCH!

Next turkey er pick is the Pac 10 Conference

I think this could be a good game and Arizona has some good moves, but I

think the ducks will prevail.

Oregon/Arizona

Moving right along, next on the block is the Big 12 Conference.

I got this one as the Oklahoma team will win.

This one should be a barn burner.

Oklahoma State/Oklahoma

And Last but not Least is the SEC Conferene

I have to go with the big one, and I hope "Bama Red, J Mark and Flint are watching,

Auburn/ Alabama

There they are, flame on.

Only 50% this week.

...and here's whut I think:

Big 10 Conference.

Michigan/Ohio State - Michigan

Pac 10 Conference

Oregon/Arizona - the ducks

Big 12 Conference.

Oklahoma State/Oklahoma - THE COWBOYS

SEC Conferene

Auburn/ Alabama - Auburn

Others:

Kentucky/Tennessee - Tennessee

Florida/Florida State - FSU

Idaho/Fresno State - Idaho will squeek this one out

West Virginia-Pitt -- WV in a close one

Auburn-Alabama -- Bama by a field goal in a wild game. A turnover could be the difference in the game.

Nebraska-Colorado -- Nebraska will romp.

Oregon-Arizona -- Oregon will eat their lunch.

Boise State-Nevada -- Nevada wants respect, but they won't find it here.

Ohio State-Michigan -- Not even close as OSU rolls.

OU-OSU -- a field goal difference in this bedlam series. OU has the psychological advantage. Flip a coin.

Michigan State-Penn State -- MSU smells roses and needs the win, but they are on the road. Coin flip.

LSU-Arkansas -- Playing for a better bowl game here. Yet another coin flip.

I have to disagree on all three of these OKB.

Looks like you called a winner OKB. I can't find the score on Idaho/ Fresno State but the way things

run you are most likely correct on that one too.

Nope, Idaho lost. Two outta three ain't bad. Better than I did.

I predict Texas will lose to A&M by a touchdown.

I'll take that bet, OKIE!

Notre Damn at USC.

The Drunken Irish are having an under-performing year.

SC isn't enjoying their year either.

SC is coming off a embarrassing loss against the Bevs.

SC has lost their starting quarterback for at least this week; compounding their problems with inexperience and lack of depth.

SC is going for the 9th straight win against Touchdown Jeebus.

This is the last home game for the 2010 Trojans.

Trojans hate the damn Irish.

As a Trojan alumn, I've hated the Irish since the days of Lou "Whiner" Holtz

I'm expecting USC to Neuter Dame in a low scoring, defense dominated game.

Call it 17 to 10 USC.

FightON!!!

Time to kick back and watch the Ducks declaw the Wildcats. Quack, quack, quack... (or so Willie says)

Speaking of ducks, did anyone know some duck crap is blue? And that Indians made war paint from it?:wub:

Bama gave that one away, missing two scoring opportunities in the red zone. Hellova game.

Ah the delicious taste of sour grapes......

I think they make wine out of it, don't the Okie?

Is it raining in Orygun? Time for a break. Arizona is going to make it tough on Orygun, but the Ducks are tough on the second half. We will see.

Why don't you tell us how you really feel about Notre Dame and USC, Uno.

Can you be harboring a secret desire to be on a more intimate footing with the fighting Irish?

TCU is grinning from ear to ear. They pretty much have a lock on the at large bid.

Yep, Boise State pretty much set them up, with the game tonight. Wonder what the poor kicker

will do for the week end. I know he will not ever forget the game.

Yup...Brotzman will probably transfer this next semester to play ball for for the Pocatello Community College of Cosmotology...if they'll take him.

Gotta admit, though, the Wolf Pack sure made one heckuva comeback.

That was one heck of a football game. I missed the latter part of the Auburn/'Bama game.

Looks like that one was a cliff hanger too.

Once Oregon got the steam roller going, it was lights out.

Naw, it's the O-Line where SC needs the help.

Wanna bet a box of donuts, Badg?

FightON!!!

Throw in a couple of bear claws and yer on, Uno.

Make that a baker's dozen tho.

Maybe I was a little optimistic in my Michigan over Ohio State pic.

Geeez, Michigan scores and right away Ohio State wants one too.

Done.

My Cambodian buddy makes the best Bear Claws, Apple Fritters, and Maple Bars in the state.

Not that I think I'll need to pay up on the bet.

Hey Spanglish, you here in the LA Basin?
