When I was a teenager I had a summer job as assistant miller at this ancient windmill

http://www.nha.org/sites/oldmill.html

you need hard flint corn (maze) and we had a standing order each week all summer for some coarse grind for grits... but the rest of the time it was cornbread grind though it was slightly coarser than commercial ground corn one of the places we sold to brought us a fresh batch of cornbread each day for our own enjoyment and to offer as samples to our visitors... best cornbread I ever ate made to a recipe from 1771 with beef drippings rather than oil

thanks for the memory

Cheers

Obviously, all y'all are not responsible hunters. Duck, rabbit, deer, quail, elk, antelope, pheasant, grouse, squirrel, goose, and dove seasons don't open for at least another three months here in the lower States! They're all still havin' and raisin' babies.

Another What's the Call(s)?

If a small metorite hits the target right as the shooter fires, the shooter's bullet misses and noticeably hits the dirt (or the reverse) and the spotter's don't have a clue what just happened, is it still rabbit season?

What if the meteorite hits a different target and the shooter misses - a procedural?

What if the rabbit (or ground squirrel - which was the actual case) crosses between the shooter and the targets, is it a miss if the shooter shoots the critter? Is he penalized if he doesn't?

Does the day of the week matter in any of the above?
