What ever became of Gun Click Rick?

Dalton Masterson, you go straight up to your room right this instant, young man. Responding to this crap! You should be ashamed! (This would be more effective if we had a 'smiley' of a mother with her hands on her hips, scowling and stamping one foot.)

BTWm GCR is fine as can be (with the exception of a medical issue) and we exchange e-mails a couple of times a day.

log in. Go to the your profile, look for my assistant section, go to Manage Ignored Users section and there you are. I have a few myself, but in the spirit of it all I just cleared it out. I'll see if the ones I have been ignoring are feeling better.

Hey Pard it was great ta see ya this last weekend. :D

I think you should all take it to your own post or pms, and stop interupting other peoples inquiries. But thats just me.

I look at a lot of the argumentative type posts on the Wire, and there are usually the same names attributed to them. Its shameful.

DM (who now should add himself to the list of names for even responding to the crap)

You're right of course...most reserve their nastiness to PM's.

While I'm sure GCR is a fine fellow...never really heard anything but nice things said about him, he did choose to stop visiting...or posting on the Wire because of some kind of philosophical disagreement. Perhaps he should be praised for his sticking to his beliefs...I don't know.

Well...at least you all now know that you can visit CAS City and communicate with GCR.

Cheers.

Fred you know you are one of my favorite folks. In fact maybe it was Dollmaker that took that picture of me and GCR. I got a kick out of the gun he was packing. Pull the trigger and a flag came out that said Bang. I got in my yearly trip to that range and now for Ft Miller.

She sent me a couple pictures she took Sunday and I can see I need to step back. That camera is like HD, I see wrinkles all over my face. I know, maybe the film was wrinkled in that digital camera. I enjoyed the ones of me shooting some flames downrange though.

I think this topic should be a lesson to us all .There is too much bickering with fellow shooters over such minor issues .We all joined SASS because we loved to shoot the old guns and to dress up like we did as kids. Yes, we do have our differences and we need to discuss them in a civil manner.

I pledge not to get into any debate and let it degrade into name calling. I have been guilty of this and I do apologize .

I hope all others who have engaged in this behavior will also take this pledge. We all want SASS to grow and be there for our grandchildren.

I wish all my fellow SASS shooters a very happy new year and pray that the wire will once again be a friendly place to visit.

Best Wishes

He got tired of the battle.............

===========================================

Sometimes one gets a battle one didn't ask for. I started a thread a while back bewailing the scarcity of primers, due largely to hoarders and scalpers, and by the time the hoarders and scalpers were done with their bewailing of my original bewailing, I wished I'd never brought it up. But I'm still here!

Though I have limited 'know' of GCR...I believe he truly is a good pard! Certainly would be honored met him face-2-face someday!!

I need ta get over there and say howdy to him. He is a real good pard ta know and has his heart in the right place. Anyway it was great ta see ya Sunday. :o

Gun Click Rick can be found at CAS City as shown in several posts. We have had to make over half this topic invisible because of the nasty comments, and quite frankly it wasn't necessary, acceptable, and certainly isn't worth keeping open. To all of you that thought it was a good idea to bring your baggage into this perfectly good post...you are the reason for this closure...shame on you! Katie
