Years ago I combined both parts of Larsen E Pettifogger's article on swapping the triggers on a Stoeger double barrel. His article shows, in detail the trigger swap and is helpful if you want to do other work or cleaning of your Stoeger. This was before all past Chronicles were available on Sassnet.com and many had limited internet speed. The PDF I shared on my Google drive was much smaller than Chronicle files. This year I received numerous requests for access to my drive file. For account security I have removed sharing. The articles can be found in the 2009 November and December Chronicles found at this link. Both segments start on page 40 each month. https://sassnet.com/resources/cowboy-chronicle

I got a Stoeger Coach Gun Supreme for Christmas. I broke it down to clean it and now the bolt that fastens the stock to the receiver is gone. Nobody has the opart (Brownells, Midwest, etc.) I tried hardware stores big and small, but I don't really know the size ('cause I don't have one.) Does anyone know where I can get one or the specs to find one? This is making me sick....

I was at Midwest today looking at Stoeger Coach parts and noticed that the regular walnut 12ga stocks are still out of stock. But ... I was surprised to see they now have nice shiny "Supreme" stocks and forends available. The ones painted black (for the HD coach) are also currently available .. I bought a used Stoeger Uplander 12 gauge 26" barrel, from an estate sale. When I opened it up to trick it up, I noticed the lug that slides forward when the safety is put on or when the shot gun is opened was totally missing. Both pins or there, just no lug (for like of a better term). The lug moves over the triggers keeping them from coming up and firing. I need the lug as I want to make the safety work when it is pushed forward, just no then the breach is opened. I someone has one of the lugs for sale then can contact me at wm_r_martin@hotmail.com Thanks

The forearm stock of my Stoeger hammerless shotgun split lengthwise all the way through. Stoeoger suggested getting one from Mann & Sons in Indiana, but three months later they still do not have one in stock. Does anyone know of another source for Stoeger forearm stocks?

Last match that I shot my Stoeger Couch Gun the right firing pin stuck and would not retract. Not being much of a gunsmith I took it in today to Cowboy and Indian Store to have Jim Bowie look at it. I thought I was just dropping it off and would pick it up sometime next week. Instead he fixed it while I was waiting. He got it up and running again and only charged me $20.00! Thank you Jim for the great service, Kelby

A friend has a Stoeger coachgun. His wife likes to shoot it but finds the lever travel just too much for her small hands. Is there any practical and safe mod that will shorten the length of the lever throw?
