I had my Ruger Vaqueros short stroked and I love how my time has decreased. A question I would like to ask is when you had a short stroke kit installed, was a stronger hammer spring needed?

I'm having some difficulty reloading brass for my 32-20 Vaqueros. I use Starline Brass and a 100 grain lead bullet. The new brass will fit fine in both cylinders of each vaquero. However after shooting and resizing the brass some will not seat all the way in one of the cylinders and drag on the recoil shields. I have been using Lee dies for the reloading. I was wondering if you all had any suggestions for my problem and/or recommend a different die set. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Ace

Well I had an opportunity to shoot my new Ruger SASS Vaqueros this past weekend. Must admit that they are in fact probably some of my better point and shoot pistols. We were shooting 2 & 3" spinner plates at 15 yards and out of the 50 or so rounds, shot over the plate about 3 or 4 times. The rest were ringing and spinning like crazy. Looking forward to my CodyMatic 1873 to arrive this week and possibly get a chance to run it this weekend up in Leonard, Texas with the Texas Ten Horn CAS group. Enjoying the SASS wire a lot, talked to several folks close by and amazed at the willingness to help, share guns and information. Really enjoying my new found addiction. Have a great week folks.
