Sassy's grandson was needing old hat for dress-up day at school and she finds this old straw of mine hanging in garage. It is from my very early years in SASS. It had a pin in it for SUDDS. I do not remember getting it but seems I was a member of SOCIETY OF UNIQUE DOUBLE DUELIST SHOOTISTS. Got to go back couple decades considering shooting double duelist not to unique any more. Hat also had a pin in it made from a recovered slug of probably 45 or 50 caliber rifle. If I am not mistaken that was given to me by shooter named Riphawk who passed many years ago. Those who shot in this four state region years ago might remember Rip. I believe he was from Arkansas.
