My car wouldn’t start this morning. The battery wasn’t completely dead but it just wouldn’t turn over. I called AAA and they came out within a half hour. Sure enough it was the battery. The guy replaced the battery and I was on my way in a half hour. The whole incident took an hour from the time I called. $219.00 installed. 2022 Buick Encore with 42 K.

I wanted to let the group know of a company that services us in the "Cowboy Way." In college we have heard of the freshman 20, but I also learned in retirement there is a retirement 40. Due to this unexpected "growth " in my retirement plan, I needed to adjust my shotgun shell belt. I originally purchased mine from El Paso Saddlery, and living locally I went to the store yesterday. Due to the design of the belt, there is not way to lengthen the belt, so I had to order a new belt. Ken Smith and his belt makers there made an extension piece for me so I can still use the belt until my new belt is completed. They also modified the old belt to allow a better ease of access for my shells due to my growth. When all was done they did not charge me for the modifications and they informed me due to their warranty, the new belt is free when it is completed. All I have to do is give them the old belt back to them when I pick up my new belt. This allows me to continue practicing until the new belt is completed. I also needed a new belt for my rig and upon learning of the warranty, I purchased a new rig from them as well. I am not the fastest gunslinger out there and I know there are other GREAT manufacturers of rigs the winners use who provide a similar level of service. Just wanted to share my experience with this fine company that has a lineage back to the 1800's.

I bought a Taylor's Commanchero in .357 and it was giving me fits! If I short stroked it,it would lock up like Fort Knox! Couldn't figure it out! 2 gunsmiths told me the timing was off. I was told to send it back to Taylors cause it was under warranty. After several conversations with the gunsmith there, he finally understood what I was talking about and Cody Conagher picked it up. Got it back and shot it today! It's great! If I accidentally short stroke it the trigger won't work but I also don't get a round. I've never had a rifle "lock up" if you short stroke it! Taylor's has great service and they stand behind their products! Kudos to Cody and the gang at Taylor's!

I put a 4th gen short stroke kit in my 73 last October that I bought from the Cowboys and Indian Store and absolutely love it. I'm nowhere near the speed of someone like Deuce or Stan, but I can spit 10 rounds out of it on steel in 2.6 seconds--noticeably faster than before. I wanted to be able to load through the top, however, not the gate and a round on top did not quite line up with the chamber. Long story short, I played with the lifter-- managing in the process to change the timing so that the gun would not run properly (pinching empties between the rising carrier and retreating extractor)--and this, my main match rifle for the almost here now End of Trail! Spoke with Jim at the "CANDI" Store yesterday. He analyzed the problem and sent me a new lifter overnight. Put it in the gun just now and voila--the guns runs speedily again AND I can now load through the top. I don't think you can get better service and wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude to one of the best businesses out there for those who love Cowboy Action Shooting. Thanks, Jim to you, your wife and staff for the expert and prompt service you gave me.
