It really pains me to read stuff like this. I grew up in Illinois. We had a Democratic representative for years who got awards from the NRA, Ducks Unlimited, etc, for pro-gun, pro hunting legislation. They gave the middle finger to Chicago reps trying to pass gun legislation that would do nothing for crime but cause their constituents to jump through ridiculous hoops for non-issues.
