On SASS Facebook someone asked about loading data for a .30-30. He was told by several people including me that .30-30 is not allowed for the main match. Someone said unless Yoyre shooting Cody Dixon. What the heck is that? A side match?

I saw a beautiful 97 Win that's been reblued, stock is original and really nice with no nicks etc. It has a 30" barrel the guy's asking 629.00, it's on consignment at a local gun store and the owner said he could probably get the guy to come down a bit. The shooter shot his rifle, laid it down in the window, the lever hit the side of the window and it closed, he had his shotgun in his hand and loaded, before a spotter told him the rifle was open but when he saw his shotgun loaded the spotter said go ahead and shoot. I was the TO and I did not see the lever open at first. After further review we decided he could get a re-shoot but the question is….. could he have opened the lever of his rifle with his shotgun already loaded? The shotgun was shot from the same window and all he would have had to do was reach down and flick the lever open. I say yes according to what I read. Whadya'll think? Rye

Howdy pards, Been taking some computer and business classes and would like to practice what I have learned. Therefore, I figured I would offer my services to clubs and individuals.
