Hey Texas Jack Daniels,
Hawk Eyes Hudson here! Are you teaching RO classes @ Comancheros in April. I was just wondering if you will be offering any in the near future at Thunder River. If so I would like to sign up. I am signed up with the club but I need to come shoot and join soon. I am getting geared up for Trailhead at THSS and after that I am ready to venture out to other clubs.
Thanks,
Hawk

Looking for information on Uberti 1873 rifle. The safety lever spring pin on my Uberti 1873 357 Mag rifle has dimples on each side of the tang to obstruct the removal of the pin. I have tried to punch the pin out and it resulted a bend punch. Hm! As you know this is a small pin on my new gun, just looking for some ideas that will do the least damage to the tang. I guess I could drill some but I really hate doing anything to my new 73 that is not necessary. I cannot believe that Pressure from sources compelled Uberti to do this to restrict removal of that lever spring. If a cowboy wants to replace the damn spring or add a lighter spring he or she will find a damn way to do it. Just marks up the gun, although only you and your gunsmith will ever know. Hey, I do my own work so I guess that leaves the gunsmith out! I did just bend the spring to lighten it up. Anyways help and ideas appreciated.

Hey Willie Goodnews,
Turkey flats said you might have a Bisley Grip Frame laying around. Let me know if you do. I have a stainless I will trade or will purchase steel one outright.

I will take them both.
Thank You!

Hey Rootin Tootin,
I just got the Grip Frames and the panel's in the mail. They are outstanding!!!! The Panels and Grips may never leave my possession. I purchased a Case Hardened 357 Vaquero today and can't wait to get the Bisley parts on the gun when it arrives. I am overwhelmed! I may even look for a stainless Ruger and keep the stainless frame. Won't that look different at a match. Thanks! A Cowboy Friend For Life!
Happy Trails,
