This was a great collection of pictures and tribute to everyone involved in the past.
I have recently joined SASS after many years of thinking about joining. Back in the early 90s I belonged to the same range as McCloud and he took me to a few matches. It was great seeing pictures of him (I never realized at the time that he was the first Senior champion). I distinctly remember driving down to the matches with him. I also remember getting him into Harry Connick Jr. (when he had his big band sound) and gave him some tapes that he really liked. He was surprised that a young kid like me was into big band music lol.
Looking back I wish I would have joined back then, but I guess I was just too young and dumb.
Thanks for everyone posting these great pictures. It has brought back memories for even an outsider like me. I have to admit that this thread pushed me to joining SASS just a couple of days ago. I am not getting any younger and I have always wanted to get involved, and seeing all of these old pictures really pushed me over the edge.
