  1. I just purchased a CZ Sharptail Coach, which I haven't picked up yet. It was more than I would have liked to have spent on a coach gun, but from what I read it is supposed to be a good quality shotgun, so I went ahead and bought it despite the cost.. These posts have gotten me worried though. I am hoping it turns out to be a good shotgun and parts won't become an issue...
  2. I'd love to get the full Bonanza series - but $200 seems way too much for a USB version of it...
  3. I had a white 69 Skylark GS. Loved that car. Sold it when I briefly moved to the northeast because I couldn't protect it from the elements, and have regretted it ever since.
  4. Buckshot, looks fantastic. I don't think I would ever be able to pull it off in the same way!
  5. If prices go much higher, maybe we will see people switch back to horses and towns can start re-installing hitching posts again...
  6. Lets not forget how far we have come in two years. Picture I took in Sherman, TX - April 2020
  7. From what I gather, the Daily Wire (and other new media orgs like them) are trying to create a new platform for an alternative to ultra woke Hollywood. I really commend them for what they are trying to accomplish. I am sure the budgets are tight - but they are getting some accomplished directors and writers that are fed up with what is happening to current American culture. I think when comparing what they produce to the big budget anti-American corporate sponsored productions, we need to keep in mind that this is the very beginning of a grass roots movement of creators looking to bring sanity back to what our families can watch. I applaud them for the effort and will not judge them for not having the best production value just yet.
  8. Eddie Dean is one of my favorites also. I had heard of him from listening to the old internet radio station - The Cowboy Cultural Society that was run by Laura Ellen Hopper before she passed away in 2007. I never happened to watch one of his films before that point. That was a great station that played such an amazing variety of Western, Country and Southern Rock music, run by a fantastic lady who left us way too soon. As for the list, I would have also ranked Jimmy Wakely higher as well.
  9. Late to the party on this one... I just watched the first 2 episodes of Billy The Kid on Amazon Prime. To watch the rest I will have to get the Epix free trial on Amazon Prime or subscribe to Epix. I usually refuse to watch anything made these days due to overt social engineering in everything and anything that is put before the viewer. I am really surprised with how good this Billy The Kid series is after watching the first 2 episodes. It is so good, that it could have been made 30 or 40 years ago. Not sure where I would rate it - but it is a good break for me, from constantly watching my old favorites over and over.
  10. This was a great collection of pictures and tribute to everyone involved in the past. I have recently joined SASS after many years of thinking about joining. Back in the early 90s I belonged to the same range as McCloud and he took me to a few matches. It was great seeing pictures of him (I never realized at the time that he was the first Senior champion). I distinctly remember driving down to the matches with him. I also remember getting him into Harry Connick Jr. (when he had his big band sound) and gave him some tapes that he really liked. He was surprised that a young kid like me was into big band music lol. Looking back I wish I would have joined back then, but I guess I was just too young and dumb. Thanks for everyone posting these great pictures. It has brought back memories for even an outsider like me. I have to admit that this thread pushed me to joining SASS just a couple of days ago. I am not getting any younger and I have always wanted to get involved, and seeing all of these old pictures really pushed me over the edge.
