Had a stock nm Vaquero like that once... Try this maybe - Slowly apply pressure to the cylinder with the support hand while slowly cocking the hammer with your primary hand. Cock it slowly while the cylinder is prevented from free spinning with the light pressure applied to the cylinder. After the hammer cocks, where is the cylinder? Still needs to spin to reach the lock-in position? (Under-timed). Locks perfectly (timed perfectly). Already past the locking position or cylinder locks before hammer does (Overtimed). Check this for each position on the cylinder. Call Ruger with your results. Probably going back to Ruger if the gun has no basic assembly issues from being taken apart. Just a thought.

Buy the old way. Do your own research. Look at the public available information about the house of interest. Taxes, previous prices etc. The primary person on your side could be the title company you choose. They do all the paperwork. Listen to their advice vs any realtor. Sometimes they can be a good friend if chosen wisely. They know the home inspectors if you don't. Twenty percent down, skip the mortgage insurance costs. Get your loan prequalified. Negotiate with the seller's realtor, you do not need one. Be prepared to walk away if your gut tells you to as it is your biggest expense in life. Hire a good inspector. Plumbing, HVAC, roof, foundation, electrical, windows.... everything is going up. I'd buy in VW or PA before all of the homes are purchased by investors. It is happening everywhere. Personal opinion only. Home and car interest rates in affordable areas are not going down too much even if recession hits. Too much free money still floating around. Try for a 10- or 15-year mortgage if possible. Actually, the Fed just said the opposite of what they said the day before...we sell our dept, mostly to ourselves. My guess is no more very low rates. Banksters will prefer to sell 50-year mortgages. We have been conditioned to only care what the monthly payment is, not what it costs. Just the way it is. Good luck. Home ownership is a great thing.

It's all opinion but with synthetic oil, I use a little bit of warm up, then put the car in gear and warm up the auto transmission for about a minute before driving in cold weather. Warming up a transmission can't hurt. No clue about those CVT's. Going to research the start-stop eliminators. Like the idea. On at least a Grand Cherokee, there is a simple way to get around the start-stop. That little battery under the seat, has a plug-in wire that senses the voltage of the start-stop battery for safety reasons. Just unplug it. Gives a dash warning, but no detectable computer error. Never need to buy a start-stop battery again. Back to the football games. Gotta see who the Refs are going to root for today.

Might try just a spring and firing pin kit. Will do wonders. Unsure if the Pioneer stuff fits the new Marlins but guess they would. One piece firing pin, firing pin spring, hammer spring, lever safety spring or bend it a bit. If the hammer block safety bothers you, take the stock off and screw in the little allen screw that holds it in, locking it in the off position. It may be sealed over, if so, dig out the goo. Add a lever wrap and go shooting. Save all parts removed if returning it for warrantee work.

My only true experience with EV's beyond electric golf carts is what I see. My city was gifted eight public electric busses. Pretty good use for the technology - "free" busses and taxpayer funded charging of them. Soon after, one of the busses went up in flames in the bus charging station. One real good fire. Did not destroy the building or other capital equipment. Nothing to see here folks...

Kind of interesting thread. I see two guests pumping up EV's here. Not a single real member of this group unless I missed something. Little real support of EV's is indicative of the marketing and taxpayer money spent trying to force the public to buy and support EV's. Nothing more. What next? Will the auto insurance companies be paid to manipulate? Will we need to carry our EV card in order to enter stores? Will our health insurance increase if we do not buy one? This is a flop. I'll trade you a Snickers Bar for an EV, then maybe. Push that thing into a lake and then collect the fish... They have their uses too. Inside buildings and places like underground cities. Tesla and Musk will possibly use them on his stated future desired home on Mars. People in congested cities will use them if driving short distances. Busses. Trash trucks. People who simply want one, etc. Maybe if they would have totally changed the battery design. It was totally feasible when this whole game began, to build liquid electrolyte batteries. All gas stations could have installed electrolyte tanks. To recharge the battery, pull up to the pump, pump out the old and pump in the new electrolyte just like fueling a gasoline car. Many choices for different transportation models are available. Most will probably flop until there is a real need, or fuel economy requirements simply destroy the viability of ICE.
