[Experience With Codymatic short stroke?]

I bought a brand new Comanchero 1873 in 45 Colt 4 years ago from Taylor’s and bought a used Codymatic 1873 in 45 Colt 2 years ago for backup. The second one is over 5 years old. A spring broke on the used one right after I bought it and I happened to be shooting with Cody in a two day match the next week. He took it home with him after the first day of the match fixed it and give it back to me the next morning. I have been shooting both rifles randomly since with no problems.He is a good guy, stands behind his work and even though it was used refused to let me pay him for fixing it.

Mailed app at 10am Monday from Peoria AZ certified mail return receipt. 120 miles away - Tracking says it will be delivered today by 9pm.The only problem is there already closed for today.

I sent one of the GunSmiths a Check Certified Mail last month. It took 3 weeks. I was able to file a complaint after 10 days. The lady at the receiving post office handling the complaint was very nice and explained a couple things to me. They have up to 30 days to deliver certified mail. And it has to go through certain post offices so it may circle out of the direct path. Basically Certified Mail is not the quick way to go.
