On Russian Army readiness
Buckshot Bear replied to Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
The world is changing (as it always has) but its a serious worry now. This ain't good for Australia - https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-60896824 https://www.smh.com.au/world/oceania/solomon-islands-in-danger-of-becoming-a-puppet-state-of-china-20220329-p5a8rz.html What the world needs is a strong United States of America, all the Western bemoaners and whiners about the US, the ones that gloat every time the US caned again in public for whatever......have no idea what the new world order will be like to live in without the US being the strongest country on the planet and the leader of the free world. -

Anyone ever read anything about American Indians and their gun maintenance? Something I've thought about. Did they have screwdrivers and the wherewithal to take a toggle link apart and oil and clean it? Did the gun sellers sell them tools, cleaning bit & pieces? Did they strip soldiers bodies after a battle taking not only the firearms but the cleaning gear as well? They would have been quite foreign things in the very beginning, but they would have quickly learnt that they rusted and developed problems and needed maintenance. Just wondered if there's ever been any history pieces written on how they went about it.

Is there any Cold Blue that doesn't have that very noticeable 'Cold Blue' smell?

Probably where it all started from for me

My best mate (we're still mates and he was my best man) used to swap them back and forth until they literally fell apart. I wish I still had them today Bob as I'd love to read them. -
Are Canadian matches still like this?

What actually is that thing???? @Pat Riot, SASS #13748 -
I used to like hunting and pecking, but it just got old after doing it so many times. Hoss, for me I keep the primers over to the left like they show in the DAA vid and they just pour in then fine single file. For the price of this filler compared to the ones costing 6x more its a great little gadget.

DAA Primafill One of these showed up yesterday, fantastic tool and can fill a Dillon primer tube in around 12 seconds. Couldn't get it to work 100% to begin with, then I countersunk the aluminium Dillon tubes a little more and a light polish and now it works flawlessly.
