That's our thoughts as well and what we've been doing.

No we don't give 'anything away' we might shoot a club match each weekend (sometimes both days). Small club, bit hollow ie having 6 members turn up for a shoot and I post the scores out to the whole club as 6 first places. These matches are JUST for our club members. It might be different in the US but here members pay a yearly club fee, they get to use the range 365 days a year and all the facilities (just needs to be two members for safety reasons) at no cost. If we advertised a shoot and had visitors from other clubs, yes we would categorise and have small awards.

Just another question compadres, do you use a tablet or just paper score sheets for your club matches?

We don't give out anything....I just email all the scores out.

Well, that's my way of thinking (and the majority of our club, but it ain't unanimous) and the way we've always done other 'category' disciplines (and there's been whinin' like mentioned).....CAS is still pretty new to us and wanted to check what other clubs are doing....just incase we're doing the wrong thing. 15 would be a good turnout, 20 would be a great turnout at our small club.

Probably and most likely. Daughter in law (petite) competed in a match using it for the first time on Saturday and after some instruction also had no problem using off hand to cock both hammers. Still pretty tight though to break open, but getting smoother.

Do any of your members at small club matches care much about categories and scoring being all lumped together? Ie some categories have an advantage over others. We've had a little bit of whining over the years with IPSC, being small we lump all together whether shooting Standard, Production, Revolver or Open. Do you lump all together or score broken up for CAS?
