You need a legitimate legal ID and proof of address to fill out a 4473. I don’t understand this judge’s ruling.

Fellow got busted and he was in 'possession' of a firearm. Never mentions purchase.

He was 'bearing arms' and the judge dismissed the possession charge

On the one hand I agree with that last line. I'm not Irish. I don't celebrate St Paddy's Day. I also don't celebrate Cinco de Mayo because I'm not Mexican.

On the other hand, St Paddy's Day is a religious holiday, not an Irish holiday. So get over yourself.

And on the third hand, "you're not Irish so you can't relate to the problems of the Irish" is right up there with "it's a black thing - you wouldn't understand". So take your racist "I'm better than you because I am this ethnicity" bull and shove it.

I believe it's called sarcasm or maybe an argument reductio ad absurdum.

Pointing out the idiocy of others by using the same argument from  a different point.

This is at a comic book convention. The middle frame. The guy on the left, just about to walk out of frame.

He is dressed as an X-Wing fighter pilot. The baby in the backpack is wearing an R2-D2 cap.

Because X-Wing fighters have an R2 unit in the back.

I just thought that was neat.

And the last tile has a ZARDOZ nod.

If you ever needed to see Sean Connery in a red diaper.  I thought it was Disturbing.

Is that male chauvinism? The girls aren't allowed to pin the side of their hats up?

Hats get pinned up for port arms to keep the rifle from knocking your hat off.

I would assume since these soldiers are in non combat roles they don't use rifles.Screenshot_20240310_063023_Brave.thumb.jpg.7f4f52af50d5f98d9a5983c74668ac0d.jpg

Apparently this is another spot where English, or maybe Australian, differs from the American language.

I thought that a lolly was a slang term - a nickname if you will - for a lollipop.

I know that popsicles are called ice lollies, but it's basically a frozen lollipop. So that would make sense.

But researching Allen's lollies has led me to the conclusion that a lolly is any type of candy.

Lolli is a sweet. Our term is candy

Wustoff and Henkles are both good brands, but the industry standard in meat processing , and arguably, food preparation is Forschner, otherwise marketed as Victorinox.

They're made to work well all day, and they take a very good edge without a lot of work.

This ,of course, is just my opinion.

( After over 50 years as a butcher, using Victorinox exclusively).

Yep still own several good forschners one of which is toothpicked by being steeled for years.

Solingen is a German brand with a decent reputation
