  1. I have a takedown untouched very nice perfect condition 26-inch 1897 with mod chock. Not many 26-incher made. The gun was manufactured earlier 40's. Very smooth action no cracks and the original bluewing is very good. I could never bring myself to having it cut. The gun has a lot of miles to go on it low round count through it. Only used in cowboy trap matches twice. Asking 900.00 plus actual ship and ins. open to reasonable offers, Thanks

  3. I am getting a lot of why or what is wrong with it. Well, I purchased the scope when I could not see through a peep sight clearly, recently I had cataract surgery and now I can see through the peep sight again. So I put the peep sight back on and do not need the scope to shoot this rifle. I prefer to shoot with the peep sight I have many rifles with scopes.

Fine Vintage Riflescopes for Fine Vintage Rifles...

William Malcolm is the oldest name in scope manufacturing, originally established in 1855. Malcolm Optics has stepped back in the time to redesign this historic line of telescopic rifle sights, providing today’s shooter a period correct scope with modern optics.

  5. I just purchased an 1873 carbine from Ken, with the short stroke added and sight and it is beautiful smooth as can be. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for gun to contact Ken.  I had very fast turnaround from when I ordered to, I received the gun I believe 2 weeks from order with short stroke modifications. You just don't find that very often. Great guy to deal with. If you need a gun, get in touch with Griner Gunworks you won't be sorry

    Happy shooten
