I have a takedown untouched very nice perfect condition 26-inch 1897 with mod chock. Not many 26-incher made. The gun was manufactured earlier 40's. Very smooth action no cracks and the original bluewing is very good. I could never bring myself to having it cut. The gun has a lot of miles to go on it low round count through it. Only used in cowboy trap matches twice. Asking 900.00 plus actual ship and ins. open to reasonable offers, Thanks Butch

I am getting a lot of why or what is wrong with it. Well, I purchased the scope when I could not see through a peep sight clearly, recently I had cataract surgery and now I can see through the peep sight again. So I put the peep sight back on and do not need the scope to shoot this rifle. I prefer to shoot with the peep sight I have many rifles with scopes. Butch
