  1. Newsom lives in Fair Oaks, my general atea
  2. Being a labile diabetic I shun milk in favor of cream. Much less carbs.
  3. Slowing down is asymptotic…. Slower and slower but never stop.
  4. You are renting your home from the property tax collector on a long term basis. You will get regular increases on that rent as the years go by.
  5. Yep. And don’t get cancer if you smoke
  6. Our local Goodwill is an excellent source for used keyboards. Name brands, also. I picked up a near new Dell USB for my grandson's new computer, for $5. Keep your eyes open at garage sales for old IBM AT keyboards with the 12 function keys. These are the "M" series clackity clack types and built like a tank. The PS/2 connector is easily and readily adaptable to USB. I am typing this on one of those keyboards. I had two until my cat knocked my coffee into the other one...
  7. We notice that store brand “organic” lasts a whole lot longer than store brand generic.
  8. I saw it and enjoyed it. He had more cajones than I would for doing that.
  9. My lodge brothers who are LEOs carry in lodge, concealed.
  10. Alpo is right. I should have said scratching my calves.
  11. They give fat people the ability to scratch their thighs without reaching for a tool.
  12. “Over” is the name I hear most.., 😁
  13. Many keyboards allow you to pop off the key and blow out the stem well with compressed air. Sometimes it is just a spec of snot (technical term) causing the problem.
  14. Pacific Gas and Electric collected tons of data on x420 tapes… and can no longer read them because the drives no longer exist. Same for the 8 inch Shugart floppies.
  15. We left Petaluma in 1988, VERY different (read: over built) today. Back then I rode Golden Gate Transit for the daily 40 mile each way ride to work in San Francisco. HW 101 was a parking lot even in those days. Not a bad place to live (then) if you don’t have to commute.
