I am trying to reach Irish Pat, I have DM'ed him a few times about his order.

Yes it is a spring within a tube holding cartridges in the buttstock.

I forgot to mention that this does not include the magazine tube and associated catch.
Consequently it is back for sale and I have reduced it to $700 OBO accordingly.

I have an original 58 rimfire Spencer carbine that needs some gunsmith attention. The hammer doesn’t always stay back, trigger pull is heavy and lever doesn’t come back to the stock fully.
I am looking for around $800+ $60 shipping.
