  1. I guess I need to practice more because my stitching doesn't look nearly as good as yours. Do you use a stitching horse or pony? I sold a very nice horse decades ago because I thought I was done doing leatherwork. Now I have a sit-under-my-thighs pony that is almost as much hindrance and it is help.
  2. I see a lot of stitching. Is that hand or machine? The machines I have seen cost a grand or more.
  3. From what I have seen on the reloading forums .38 spl can split. I bought .38 S&W brass for mine.
  4. According to my books this was made between 1890 and 1898 and most likely being from the mid-1890s.
  5. This is one of two bison horns I bought in Custer, South Dakota. I commissioned an experienced horn maker to make them into a matched set of powder horns. I am keeping one until I make up my mind if I want to sell my Hawken rifle. This is a true American Bison horn from the Black Hills, not one from India made from water buffalo. It is made in the style of original horns. $100 $80 plus shipping. If you have priced these you know this is a deal.
  6. Just an FYI, anything with advertising in it can't go Media rate. Even if the magazines are old and the advertising is invalid. I ran into this issue buying Gun Reports from the 1950s-1970s. I bought about 30 years worth from a guy on eBay and they weighed around a hundred pounds. My PO wanted to charge me over $200 postage due. I said I wasn't going to pay it and give me time to get with the seller. The seller said his PO said they could go media rate so my PO released them to me.
  7. Broomhandle Mauser was used in the movie Joe Kidd. Presidence has been set. Remember? It was the gun that never ran out of ammo.
  8. What if we just made a Rita Escobar catagory and let it go at that?
  9. I find it inconceivable that you have never seen the WWW movie:
  10. My impression of steam punk is what is shown on the Will Smith version of the Wild Wild West, and I personally have no issue with any women shooters that want to dress in that manner, especially if they want to dress the part of Rita Escobar.
  11. I heard her husband does the lip prints when she gets overloaded...
  12. What about Bob Hope's brothers, Beyond and No? Don't forget Bruce Lee's sister, Ugh.
  13. My wife and I are going to be in Prescott over Memorial Day. (We used to live there 25 years ago...) Is the SASS club going to be doing anything then?
