I'm attempting to make sense out of the price tags.

I'm guessing that because of the design differences of the boxes, the one on the left is pre-plague and the one on the right is post plague?

But the price tags have two prices.

Is the tag on the left box - the good old days box? - say $96 a thousand or $12 a hundred?!? And the right box - the new price box - says $245 a thousand or $30 a hundred????!!!!?????

    Geezuz

The one on the left is pre plaque and the two prices are for 100 and 1000.

    You got it right.

  2. As above for me. My hammers haven't been worked I just fit Slix nipples to my guns and do little else with the Pietta's.

I had a pair of Pietta 51's in .36 with spare cylinders and spare short barrels (3" I think?). I sold the .36's with their 5.5" barrels and bought the .44's.  I tried the spare cylinders and short barrels on the 44 frame and had no problems. I haven't used them that way since.

  3. These three came up for sale today.

In NSW we can buy 1911 .45 with a High Cal permit.

Before you ask, yes, they really are that expensive here.

Yes you can shoot WB, but you have to be riding a kangaroo and also must be using a boomerang as a prop.

    Stealing my stage instructions again?

Also we have WB and some clubs that shoot Webley .455 in an event they call Colonial. Thats NSW which is different to QLD where PM is.

  5. My favorite mortar oopps was a base plate in soft ground that slowly sunk, and they get dropping rounds down until the last two rounds landed on the LD (Line of Departure) as our APCs were lining up to start the assault.

I used to be the Mortar Troop vehicle Troop Leader (M113 mortar car- 81mm). We would pick up the grunt mortar platoons and cart them around. I even got to help in the CP working out the corrections and calling out fire orders.
