I like stages that are written so the shooter has the latitude to shoot it the way they want.

Take the gun apart. Take the bolt out. Use whatever cleaner you like to soak the bolt in. Wiggle the extractor up and down with your finger, then blow the crap out with an air compressor. I use a pipe cleaner to clean out the firing pin channel. I have never taken the extractor out to clean under it.

What loads did you use in BP? I just got a Load All to use specifically for BP and bought some APP from Scarlett. I have heard that 35 grains works but have not been able to confirm that with anyone else other than the one cowboy. I want to use 7/8 oz shot and will even dip the BP if I need to. I found a 4.3 cc and .7 cc dipper will give me 35 grain weight.

Lee dipper 3.1 of APP 3f and 3.4 of whatever shot you want works OK for Shirttail. If you have hard to KD SG targets use 3.4 3f and 3.7 shot.

your prices are no longer relevant , you cannot purchase the components that cheaply today , but i get it that you have yours from before , what i see in this is that you can produce the round you want to shoot - you cant buy it on the open market - and you can produce what you need when you need it
I think those prices are a little above what I pay now. His primer price of $40 for 500 is above what I pay, the $16 for wads is about 2-3 dollars more than I pay for wads, the shot and powder are in line with what I pay. Right now the primers that I find are about $70 per 1000 for Cheddites.

Brits call it candy floss.
Back in the seventies Penthouse magazine had a comic strip in it every month. Oh Wicked Wanda. And Wanda had a girlfriend. Cute little blonde with long legs and short skirts. Named Candy Floss.
That name puzzled me long after the comic quit running. Until I found out that it was cotton candy. She did look very sweet.
Not true without pics.

The pendulum swings. I just returned from the eye doc and had to fill out a questionaire, it gave me choices on answering some of the questions instead of being mandatory. I did not have to answer the question on race, whether I identify as an "it" or whatever and a couple of other things. About time.
