  1. Things going back the way they should be now. Folks need to lighten up a little. We would be in a sad state if people only posted worthwhile content. kR
  2. Nothin like a winter action film from Montana. kR
  3. Looks like something hangin off of a trailer hitch on a pickup in Texas. kR
  4. No. I put the cloth covers on my guns when they are in the cart. That dust cover over the carrier does nothing to protect the muzzle from getting dirt and dust in it. kR Kr
  5. You are making an assumption which is wrong. Try it then you will understand. kR
  6. I used to use one of the vacuum sealers to package my venison then I came up with the idea of packing it in a freezer bag and pouring water in the bag until all the air was out. Then seal the bag and freeze it. Never had a bag get air in it and freezer burn like used to happen with the vacuum bags. We would hunt during the day and cut and package the meat at night in the garage that was set up for processing. We had a wood stove and always had a cast iron skillet on top for cooking small pieces of meat while we butchered. kR PS any aging I did was in a cooler set at 34 degrees, just above freezing and only done until meat could be packaged and frozen
  7. I use just a little pepper and cook it in butter or lard and don't over cook it. I used to get 4 or 5 whitetails or mulies a year and that's the only red meat I would eat. Also If you like chili google "Navajo Green" chili and use that recipe. Best chili I've ever had. I used to substitute jalapenos for the mild green chilis. kR PS I substitute the pork with venison
  8. Usually caused by not running yer sg shells thru a shell checker especially AA's. Some of em have a slight bulge just above the brass and will stick in a tite chambered 97. In the case of reloads the crimp may have mushroomed a little. kR
  9. I would use 600 to 800 grit automotive finishing cloth, the finer the grit the better job of POLISHING it does. kR
  10. I'd be glad to patch those jeans for her if she took them off. kR
  11. Where do you find it? We just bought the 4X4 with that engine and auto trans and I haven't located it. kR
  12. Pretty much my way of thinkin. I just used a heavier bullet. kR
  13. I owned a 73 with a 30" bbl once. Best load I developed for it was a 45/70 gov't resized to 452. and loaded long in the 45 colt case. I used just enough bp to get 630 fps. The round was longer than would feed in a 73 so it had to be shot as a single shot loaded over the top. I shot a 5 shot 3.5" group with it at 125 yds. The guy running the spotting scope almost died laughing at the trajectory. Don't be afraid to try heavier weight for your projectiles, just make sure you've got them sized properly and don't try to hot rod them. kR
  14. Sounds ta me like yer brain didn't keep up in age wit yer body 4t. kR
  15. I'm gettin there Widder, it's been nearly 3 months since back surgery and am gettin better. I've been able to return to shootin and have started PT. After several years of dealin with back issues I'm happy to say that I'm finally seein results. Hope you and yours are doin great also. kR
  16. I have seen most of these Cowboys run their 97's and they re way fast. However the fastest Ive seen was a young man from back east one year at the Tri State match. He busted a flier with the third shot from a 97 after he missed the first two. kR
  17. It's just penance for some of the questions you ask. kR
  18. Just bought a 23 Tacoma. It does not have the power that my 2007 Tacoma had even though the dealer told me it had more hp. We got it because we did not like what the 24's were going to have for engines etc. kR
  19. Ya can use fillers just make sure they have no moisture content. I personally don't use em. kR
  20. The primer will deteriorate long before the BP. kR
  21. Arizona gives us hot water from the cold tap about 6 months of the year. kR
