    Big thanks Captain Baylor for a great tip using a cookie sheet under your reloading presses to catch spilt shot, primers, etc. in this months The Cowboy Chronicle. I can not tell you how many times I spilt shot all over the place. I went out and installed one on my Spolar after reading. RL 1100 is next. Thanks Captain. Knucky

    Not knocking steel pins. They do the job but I got tired of getting the steel pins out and pins all over the place. I use Strat-O-Sheen and brass juice and brass comes out like new. Strat-O-Sheen is sold by Rio Grande. It is used by jewelers. Attached is a batch of 223 cleaned with this combination. No more need of knocking out stuck pins. The 5 LB box of Strat-O-Sheen goes a long way. I use a 1/2 cup with a 1/4 cup Brass Juice in my tumbler.

    I sure wouldn't mind having one of these cannons also. Looks like a fun shooter. Check out MannyCA video. He is loading it loose also. This cannon will surely put a smile on your face and a bruise on your shoulder.

    The meat buffalos go for $5000. If you want to get a trophy bull they are much more. They had two white buffalos including this big guy. Our guides 8 year old daughter shot the smaller white with her 300 blackout right through the heart as well. That was awesome. Give them a look. They are an awesome family and treat you like family.     In Idaho near Ashton. The guide service is Elk Safaris West. We have been there a lot getting our elk and buffalo meat. Great family.

    This is kind of SASS related being I use my 1871 Uberti Baby Rolling Block 45-70 in plainsman matches. I normally go hunting with my bow but I decided to use my rolling block this time to get my buffalo. I am not a good long range shooter as I shake like crazy. Some of my CAS friends call me shakey pudding. Little over a 100 yards right through the heart. It was fun using this rifle for what it was intended for rather than ringing steel.     I have a new unfired '66 Carbine, 38spec, 19" round barrel with a 5th gen Pioneer Gun Works short stroke kit in it and I'm looking for some 45LC revolvers...........
