  1. just before i met my wife she had a case of toxic shock , she went into a comma with the kids their over a weekend , someone [not sure who] put the phone in a pitcher of water by the bed so no one could reach them , kids found food in the fridge and cereal survived the day and two nights thinking she was sleeping , they were two and four at the time ,
  2. my father served in heavy bombers in the pacific so i dont know much of the 17 crews except that we lost too many , IIRC most crews did not complete all their assigned missions in one way or another , in my fathers case his 29 although shot up a bit made it through the war and returned home , id have to refresh my memory from his info as to casualties but most of his crew started on saipan with Morgan's command [yes the memphis belle piolet] and almost all made it home after we dropped the bombs ,
  3. that would be what ? about three or maybe two and a half trucks ..................... i basing that o0n the aryticle saying they stole high end units , and , im thinking lynching , we hung horse theives time to start on car/truck theives , bet that might reduce all these car jackings , or just shoot them ,
  4. interesting piece - hope you get it working for you ,
  5. my thought too , think what we have put in space and what it can do , size matters but small when it comes to space , my first thought was here we go again yet this time why dont we just figure a way to capture it , my second thought was a book i read recently - clive custler , marauder , its about a chinese plot to take over austrailia by creating a huge medical emergency that requires quick response by a lot of people fast - they have lots of people are close and can respond faster than anyone else , complete takeover within the humanitarian response guise , then i thought of our boarders and what is flowing over them now and under the guise os humanitarian relief of asylum claims - none of it legal , none of it resisted , mostly encouraged , and then we support these invaders while they take us over we shall see what the future brings but im expecting the worst from this situation ,
  6. got mine too - had not taken time to look at the ballot , but it seems the money you donate gets spread very thin , no wonder they always need more ,
  7. second hand lion was a great movie , while i might bring a knife and a sword should the mood settle upon me ill have a gun as well ,
  8. everything down here except the outdoor wreaths [no lights] and the house lights they are never taken down just shut off , but there are a couple houses here with them still up full blown ,
  9. that would be fun , im noot sure i want to advertise the guns / property association , but its a unique intro to where you are and what you might expect if your intent is less than friendly ,
  10. those look like the answer - ive not had issues with the canalure in mine [yet]
  11. i load one length for my marlin and revolvers in 38 spcl , but i load a 158 RNFP bullet over red dot / clays ,
  12. it sounds like a labor of love , as i think it would be way more trouble than its worth , why might i ask - would you want that ? i know of no main match revolvers chambered for the 38S&W ,
  13. thank you , the things you site are exactly why i asked , i am thinking cowboy loads for cowboy guns , what you provided is what i had interpolated but i was wanting some confirmation - i appreciate all that you have mentioned , i do load 200 grain RNFP cast lead , that gives me a good place to start
  14. i wonder if this will get labeled politically incorrect - but i guess i dont care im ROFLMAO
  15. i think the convicted are entered into the data base
  16. sandy and sharon on my mothers side that i knew - i never knew the other pair that died before i was born , on my fathers side it was sandy and andy , they were all fun girls and they were all very good to me even tho they were older , ,
  17. ya , i suspect it might , but based on everything that has crossed our boarders in the last three years i fully expect things to happen all over the country soon , i believe the age of our freedoms is about to be breeched ,
  18. i like the half sheets , i dont use as many or much at any one time , sometimes i need three but two full would be a waste ,
  19. im looking to load some shorter 45AR with cowboy loads and only have the 45colt load at this time , im planning to load he same powder as i dont want to buy something different - is there a good load for 45AR and 45ACP in the cowboy loads for red dot or clays ?
  20. so sorry to hear , i hate these posts , we loose too many every year , i suppose its the fact that most of us are older but it always makes me feel like i missed knowing someone i probably would have liked a lot ,
  21. im thinking if i was going ashore in an amphibious landing in those days id like a couple of those covering the beach i was landing on ,
  22. having some degree of experience with snow i would drive through with my truck , slowly , but not with the wifes car - id go with the torch in that case , you can only build snowmen with warmer wetter snow so its gonna yeild but may bunch under the chassis , you dont want to take a run at it or your in for some dents oh , and one might want to make sure the builder didnt build them on fenceposts - that would make for a mad day ,
  23. i hear you there - ive seen it some , i would never refer to mine as "the" and she shows the same respect , i might on an occasion call her my "better half" which she is , ive been blessed for nearly 40 years to have her in my life and 33 of those as my wife , i did have two other lives before this and i know what im talking about with this one ,
  24. ive always felt [without having been there at the time] that was a perfect example of mass hysteria or mob mentality stopping just short of lynchings , totally uncalled for and probably ilegal as pointed out above yet in wartime a lot of dumb things happen ,
