I will have 4 Baikal 12ga side x side with all my work done to them. I'll be on the first row of vendors near the west end.

I just checked online and SPP a minimum of $75 or so for 1K. They are having a sale on Cheddite primers for $88, but for 1500, not 1000. Reclaimed shot for $52 or so. LPP are available, but more expensive. I just ordered SPP, Cheddites and powder, but I thought I might check them out. Haven't heard of Bruno's before.
I shot Benchrest all over the states for 25 years with Lester Bruno and was around when he moved out here and started his store. Good Guy and good businessman.

It was a fun match with straight forward stages and we used the Bordertown 20 x 20 targets set at a distance closer to what will be seen at EOT.
Enjoyed meeting some new to us shooters and also seeing old friends

X Mark, bring them to EOT and I'll trade you some of the gun work for them.
Thanks,

When I get through both eye surgeries and prostate surgery, I will be doing some. I don't want a lot of business, so I'll be very selective on how many I will do.

I prefer the Bisley hammer over the SBH hammer. If you're going to Los Vaquero's this month, let me know and I'll bring an example of all three.

I have a pair with 4" and am going to change them out for 5" when I get the time.

It doesn't alway show up when slow cocking and it is very intermittent even at fast cocking, until worn down further, then it will start to show up slow cocking.

A lot of gunsmiths will polish the hammer or the bolt so that the gun doesn't overcock when cycling the action. This is done to make the cocking smoother. Add a few years of shooting and the hammer can end up not being pushed back enough to cock it reliably. I face this problem many time a year and not only on Rossi's, but Marlins and 73's.- 1

I’m frustrated with my Supreme single trigger. I installed a Palo Verde lever spring kit and it shot great for several months. I took it to the Buzzard Boil and I HDA multiple issues from second bbl not firing to the breach opening. i’ve already replaced the firing pins with Long Hunter pins. I added the stronger washers to the PV spring, took it to the range and shot 20 rounds thru it with no issue. I took it to a shoot he following Saturday and the second barrel wouldn’t shoot even after recocking it on two subsequent stages. Then last week, i took it back to the range and put another 20 round thru it with no problem. I just replaced the PV spring kit with a LH spring and will take it back to the range this coming weekend. If the problem persists, then iIl send it off to a cowboy smith to see if additional internal work is needed.…
This is a common problem with Stoegers. I believe that Stoeger makes all the parts and puts them together without final fitting. I have found many that the bolt, not being fit to the gun, doesn't close all the way, that along with a lighter lever spring, causes it to blow open.

Hopefully with his better eyesight the targets a Border Town won't be moved out.
Shotgun targets will be moved in.

I will be out of commission, in a good way, until the second week of January. Whisperin Meadows and I will be Elk Hunting, then a trip to Australia and then cataract surgery.
If I have your gun or guns for repair, I'll be back working the second week of January when I can see small parts again.
Thank you for your patience,
Johnny Meadows
