How do you open a driveshaft? All the ones I have seen are closed on the end, with either splines or a universal joint.

Just remember, if you have a 44" waist you will need a 48" belt, more or less.

I have a set. Not sure what these things are worth today, have to look it up. Feel free to make me an offer. I have Pachmayer grips on my Portuguese Hi-Power that holds my .22 conversion, but some better feeling, to me, wood grips on my original HP. It would probably be worth more with the originals, but I will never sell it. whytelw AT comcast DOT net

Thanks Tully, but if I had enough for this rifle I would go to WR myself, and stay with family in Chandler.

Surprised this is still here. If I wasn't so broke I would buy this for my son, who is graduating from Buckaroo in May. He shot light 44-40 in pistols last match with no problem, and a short rifle shouldn't be too heavy for him.

"I would like to trade for an I.A.C. model 1887 lever shotgun, stock with no work done to it."

What press are you using? I have been reloading my BP and smokeless shells for at least 10 years now and never had a FTF, using my MEC 600's.

FWIW, I find the Accurate Molds easier to use as they have tapered alignment pins, whereas the NOE pins are more square. If you are not going to do too many bullets it may not matter, but for volume it makes life easier. I have at least 5 Accurate Molds and 3 NOE, so I have used both.

i always tumble the wet cleaned brass in my vibratory tumbler, with walnut shells and paint swirl remover. I only wet tumble the BP brass, the smokeless comes out fine with just the vibratory tumbler.

1860 Army grips don't wrap around the backstrap, they are mostly just longer on the bottom. I must be missing something.

If you earned it, no reason to hold a grudge. I got a MDQ once, on the second stage, Just timed the rest of the day. Kinda hard to argue with it, the hole in prop was pretty obvious. Learn from it and move on. When my son earned his first SDQ, I showed him the hole I made. told him, don't get mad, you earned it, it happens. And pay more attention to the 170.

Use a spiral tornado brush to clean and it will tend to push out the melted plastic wads instead of tearing them up like a regular bristle brush. Make sure you pour some warm water down the barrel first to loosen it up a bit. Some Murphy's Oil Soap in the water will help also.

Not sure who wrote it but your second "quote" has 4 mis-spellings. If it is the maker of the Maglock they should be more careful. Pisses me off that we even have to consider using such a PIA device on our AR's. Personally I'm just going to re-register my registered AR to avoid such a thing.

I have crashed my motorcycle before and got some road rash, but grinding off 40 lbs is pretty amazing:)

BB: maybe my pm didn't make it to you , but I responded no and no, to steel lined holsters, in your hands in about 2 weeks.

Soft, that I test to 9-10 Brinell hardness. Harder can work but softer is more forgiving if used in different guns.

A ground wire might help, but I generally have my left hand on the press as it makes it easier on my back, so the potential between the press and I should be equal, hopefully eliminating any static charge. Assuming static would set off BP, which I don't believe anyway. I hear stories of primer tubes on presses blowing up, and guns blowing up, but I have still to hear of anyone setting off a BP charge on their press. Doesn't mean it can't happen, but if I wanted to be perfectly safe I wouldn't be a shooter.
