  1. FWIW, I find the Accurate Molds easier to use as they have tapered alignment pins, whereas the NOE pins are more square. If you are not going to do too many bullets it may not matter, but for volume it makes life easier. I have at least 5 Accurate Molds and 3 NOE, so I have used both.

  2. If you earned it, no reason to hold a grudge. I got a MDQ once, on the second stage, Just timed the rest of the day. Kinda hard to argue with it, the hole in prop was pretty obvious. Learn from it and move on. When my son earned his first SDQ, I showed him the hole I made. told him, don't get mad, you earned it, it happens. And pay more attention to the 170.

  3. Use a spiral tornado brush to clean and it will tend to push out the melted plastic wads instead of tearing them up like a regular bristle brush. Make sure you pour some warm water down the barrel first to loosen it up a bit. Some Murphy's Oil Soap in the water will help also.

  4. Not sure who wrote it but your second "quote" has 4 mis-spellings. If it is the maker of the Maglock they should be more careful. Pisses me off that we even have to consider using such a PIA device on our AR's. Personally I'm just going to re-register my registered AR to avoid such a thing.

  5. A ground wire might help, but I generally have my left hand on the press as it makes it easier on my back, so the potential between the press and I should be equal, hopefully eliminating any static charge. Assuming static would set off BP, which I don't believe anyway. I hear stories of primer tubes on presses blowing up, and guns blowing up, but I have still to hear of anyone setting off a BP charge on their press. Doesn't mean it can't happen, but if I wanted to be perfectly safe I wouldn't be a shooter.
