  1. I went to an eye doc that specializes in shooting glasses. He made me a pair of RE Ranger “edge” glasses with changeable lenses. The dominant eye lense is focused at front sight distance and the other is focused at 25 yds. I had my doubts but they work great with pistols rifle and even my Malcolm scoped sharps. Nice crisp front sight focus without moving my head around to find the sweet spot as I used to do with progressives. I have an amber set of lenses for sunny days and a yellow set for indoor shooting. Expensive but worth it for me

  2. GR,

Sounds like the other fellers here are interested in the pair of XR 3-RED, so i will take the other XRN-3RED. I'll see if I can make it work and if not i'll throw it back up for sale .

PM me your address and i'll make final arrangements for payment.

  3. I shoot the R 1 in Wild Bunch. Never had a malfunction after getting Shooting Star mags. For some reason the factory mags wouldn’t work for me. I paid 474.00 about 3 yrs ago WITH an armorers discount coupon which was a great deal back then. I was thinking of picking up another one just because the price at Cabelas was so good.

  4. I am a big customer at Cabelas and saw these a few years ago. Looked good and the price was great. My brother, another pard and I each bought a set. Had to have them shipped from a store several states away to get them as our local cabelas would not carry them due to odd local law requiring all handguns to be stamped with a model name or number. My brother and I sold ours within a few months as the quality was in line with the price. My pard  coudnt  sell his as the transfer bar broke in one and no replacement parts can be found. These are apparently a special run for cabelas.  My recommendation is to steer clear unless your looking for some realllly low cost/quality entry guns.
