I’m not a Twain scholar but a huge fan of the man and his work.
Many people smarter than me say that Mr Lewis was the inspiration for the character Jim in Huckleberry Finn.

I think your original idea of a shim at the front of the cylinder would work. Cut it from a feeler gauge and see what happens.
This isn’t a gun deserving of too much overthinking.

Curved belts are generally for women.
I would say a woman needs a curved belt if she wants to be comfortable for a day’s shooting.
But men are not cylindrical through the hips either. Glutes, hip bones, and beer guts all ad to our “topography”.
The good news is that most people don’t need a custom curve in their gun belt. Simply go to a vendor, try a few on, and buy which one feels best to you.

I’ve used both curved and straight gun belts. If the curve is made right they are way more comfortably and secure than straight.

Took timeout for supper and just turned on the second game. 21-7 Lions at the two minute mark and they're driving. Shower might have to wait until halftime, then a bowl of ice cream for the second half.
I could enjoy a Chiefs/Lions Super Bowl, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
Dear Lions Fans,
I'm really sorry about jinxing the 2nd half.

The difference between audacity and stupidity is success.
These 4th & yardage calls have not been very successful.

That was not expected. An 18 minute game going forward.

30 years? We've been there since 1948 in various ways.

Ravens killing themselves with big penalties. Don't like the Ravens but can't stand Mahomes/Kelce/Swift.
The Ravens enabled Ray Lewis for years. Discipine and dignity are not their strong suits.

No real passion either way since my Bengals' season ended.
Kelce and his brother played their college ball at the University of Cincinnati. That's enough reason for me to cheer Chiefs. That, and the Ravens being a rebranded Browns that Fart Modell stole out of Cleveland in the middle of the night.
Chiefs should be up by 20+ but keep shooting their own foot. I'll keep watching until supper is ready. This game isn't worth watching with a plate in my lap.

Saloon Ricochet… sorry.
I really do not understand this hate of the “ugly crossbolt safety”. Personally, I would prefer that over a tang safety. I always put O-rings on my SASS guns with crossbolt safeties to keep from accidentally applying it. But their appearance never really bothered me. Maybe it’s also a personal thing that I won’t go into here.
Sorry for the hijack. I just wanted to voice my opinion on that safety feature.
To me that safety is like a small skin blemish on a pretty woman.
My 94’s safety had a 1/8” deep by 1” diameter on the receiver’s right side. When the safety was pushed in it protruded 1/8” from the other side. It was the 1” recess that looked like a drained cyst which spoiled the gun’s looks.
I had a Marlin in 38-55 which had a simple cross bolt safety with no recess. I used your I-ring idea and never had a problem with its aesthetics.

My first CAS gun was a 94 in 44 mag, but it had the butt ugly cross bolt safety. I bought it at a gun show about a month after my soon-to-be-ex moved out. A Happy Divorce To Me present!
It was slow but solid, and I had a ton of fun with it. Sold it after I slowed down on CAS shooting. Sometimes wish I still had it.
Good for you and your find!

Yes, I know what makes the snow and have done so myself a few times. But that’s not the ponderance of the moment.
With a week of snow on the ground, every spot of yellow snow still shines. On Jack’s walks,, he stops at each spot for a moment.
Why do some spots warrant a minor sniff and move one, some a deeper inhale, a few he buries his face in ecstasy, and he adds his own yellow to about half.
What does he glean from yellow snow to elicit such diverse reactions?

There’s a lot of truth to that line. I’ll be noodling on it today.

KelTec has its place in the firearms manufacturing market. I have owned a few over the years and will say that they have all been reliable when fed quality ammo.
That said, I would not risk my life on any KelTec as a primary weapon. I do not feel they are manufactured to be high-round-count weapons.
Agreed.
I haven’t used this particular gun, but the KelTek’s I’ve owned were entirely adequate for low cost plinking and fun.
If a KelTec was all you could afford to buy, then it’s better than nothing. But it would not be my SHTF gun if at all possible.- 1

My wife and I are looking at recreational properties in rural East Tennessee.
Does anyone know if TN has a law like Texas where you need a minimum of ten acres to shoot a gun in unincorporated areas?
Im mindful of safety, backstops, politeness with noise and all, but was curious about this facet.

In the United States, it seems that we habitually walk on the right side of a hallway when there is two-way foot traffic. If two people are heading towards each they normally defer to the right.
Do they defer to the left in the United Kingdom?
A very Alpo-esque question but the thought crossed my mind while transiting ATL this morning.
